Kyrgyzstan Nature Escape

Day 1: Welcome Kyrgyzstan

As your plane lands, your driver will wait for you at the Bishkek airport and take you to the hotel. The tour guide will take you to a Welcome Dinner.

Day 2: Capital Bishkek 

After breakfast, you will visit Ala Archa National Park, located in the Tien Shan mountains, around 30km to the south of the city. After lunch you will continue exploring Bishkek's iconic locations such as Bishkek Central Mosque, the famous Osh Bazaar and the Victory Square.

Day 3: Belagorka Gorge

After breakfast you’ll drive 80 km from Bishkek towards Belagorka Gorge, hike through the forest of the Gorge and reach the 60 metres high waterfall. After absorbing the scenery and a delicious lunch, you will head back to Bishkek for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Journey East (Kochkor)

After breakfast we’ll drive to the town of Kochkor. En route we’ll stop in Burana tower. Burana’s 11th-century minaret is the only remaining building from the ancient city of Balasagun, once the capital of the mighty Karakhanid empire. Upon arrival in Kochkor we will see how a traditional Kygryz felt carpets (shyrdak) are made. You will spend the night in Kochkor.

Day 5: Skazka Canyon and Tamga Village

After breakfast drive to Tamga, along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Our next stop is in the village of Kyzyl Tuu, where we will meet a yurt maker and learn more about the art of building this traditional nomadic dwelling. Afterwards you will drive to Skazka Canyon known for its mountain figures carved into the red sandstone over millennia by wind and water. By the evening we will settle into a yurt camp in Tamga Village where we will spend the night.

Day 6: Journey Back to Bishkek

After breakfast, we will embark on our trip back to Bishkek. On the way learn how borsook, fried bread, is made and we can taste it. 

Once settled in Bishkek, we will enjoy the dinner while watching traditional Folklore performances.

Day 7: Farewell Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, your driver will take you to the Airport to catch your flight home.
