Day 1: Welcome Muscat
As your plane lands, your driver will wait for you at Muscat airport and take you to the 4 or 5 star hotel for a restful evening. You will spend the night in Muscat (you can arrive to Muscat in the evening or early morning on next day).
Day 2: Exploring Muscat city
After breakfast, you will venture to a local Yiti Village to meet local Omani women in their house, experience first hand the Omani culture, try out local dresses and bake local bread. You will get on a short hike nearby mountains to reach an astonishing picturesque views. You will then hop on a boat and experience a magical coastline nearby Muscat. After lunch, you will head back to Muscat city central district and pass by Royal Palace and visit the National Museum.
You will then visit the Mutrah Souk, one of the oldest markets in Oman. In the evening you will visit a luxurious district of Muscat, Al Mouj where you will walk along the promenade and enjoy the Welcome dinner in a handpicked restaurant. You will spend the night in Muscat.
Day 3: Escape to the Desert
After breakfast, this first big item on your busy schedule is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest Mosque of Oman, built in 1992 by the late Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said Al Said.
You will then head straight to the Desert Camp (2.5 hours drive) where you will take part in desert activities including a quad bike, a camel ride and a Jeep Safari tour across the desert sands. End the day with a delicious dinner in the camp and dance by the fireside to the tune of a distant Omani music. You will spend the night in the Camp.
Day 4: Journey back to Muscat
After breakfast, you will experience the Omani Wadis (Valleys) with a visit to Wadi Bani Khalid, a short hike along the valley and a swim in the local river to wash away they desert heat. After lunch, you will begin you journey back to Muscat to catch your flight in the evening.
